KAYEL is a leading regional player in the tyre industry, with almost 80 years of experience in virtually all aspects of the tyre business: retread raw materials manufacturing; tyre retreading, distribution and retailing; outdoor breakdown services; tyre management contracting and equipment supply, including retreading plant design-and-build turnkey projects.
The development and production of retreading raw materials is carried out in a 17,300 square meter, 600-tonne capacity manufacturing facility in the Penang state - northern industrial hub of Malaysia. The factory is equipped with modern machines and is constantly upgraded with the latest technological advancement of industrial processes. The factory employs 185 staff, comprising trained production workers, experienced technicians and professional managers.
KAYEL is also a certified contract manufacturer of retread PTL for several major international tyre brands to complement their new-tyre offerings, a clear testimony of KAYEL’s ability to meet the stringent quality standards of international tyre companies.
